Hi there!

My name is Melissa Jedrysiak, I’m a self-taught designer and illustrator based in Chicago. I have a degree in Biology from DePaul University. I’ve always been around artists, designers, and animators, even throughout college. Design and illustration are my passion, and I’m constantly planting new seeds to grow my skills and broaden my possibilities. I love exploring the relationship of combining the scientific method and the thought process of design in my work.  I’ve always thought design and art are an incredibly useful tool to communicate and learn, even daunting subjects like science. And you can also make it fun and approachable.
